Do you also like Linn Ullmann‘s books? The first novel i read by Ullman was Before you sleep when i was 21. I felt identify with her eccentric characters, it was a wake up call to the complex feminine universe. These days i’m reading A blessed child, is Ullman all the way: fears, complexes…but what I’m enjoying the most is the way pregnancy and motherhood are experienced and described by her characters: intimate, dreadful at times, contradictory…tearing off the commercial image that pregnancy has nowadays. Nothing is easy.
